How much does a valuation cost?
Nothing. The valuation and the inspection are both free, and there is no fee if you decide not to sell. We make our money on the cars we buy, not on the people who ask.
Will you buy a car that still has finance on it?
Yes. We settle the outstanding balance with your bank or leasing company directly and pay you the difference. Bring the latest settlement statement to the inspection if you have one.
Does the car need a valid MFK?
No. We buy cars with an expired MFK and cars that have never had one. How long the test has left affects the price, not whether we are interested.
What if the car has been in an accident?
We still buy it. Tell us on the form so the first offer is the real one — an accident history found at the inspection changes the number, and nobody enjoys that conversation.
Who handles the de-registration and the plates?
We do. We complete the change of ownership at your cantonal Strassenverkehrsamt, hand the plates back, and tell your insurer the car has changed hands so the policy stops with it.
How do I get paid?
By bank transfer on the day you accept the offer, once the transfer is complete. We do not pay in instalments and we do not take cars on consignment.
